In the past few years decking has become increasingly

popular.

With a wider and more accessible range of materials, a

stunning decking feature in the garden is well within most

people's budget these days.

The sheer versatility, beauty and feel of good quality timber

makes it a must have for people that want to achieve

"The room outdoors" feel in their garden.

With the right ballustrade/handrail and a well thought out

lighting plan, a deck is the perfect place to relax and entertain that will make you the envy of friends, family and visitors.

If you have a design already planned out, we'd be happy to build to your specifications. We will cost out the project for you and present you with an estimate. If you are not quite sure what you want, or what is possible, we can come up with designs and suggestions for you.

It's definitely worth spending some time and thought at this stage. A good tip is to have your end vision in mind and work backwards, thinking of all the elements that you would like your deck to incorporate e.g. lighting, seating, handrails, additional electrical points, water features, planters etc. as these would need to be pre-planned and installed throughout the build.

We can design, supply and fit softwood or harwood decks.

Softwood decking is the far more popular choice because of its price.

Hardwood decking costs more than softwood due to the fact it takes longer to grow, is more durable and is available in a wider array of naturally rich colours. If you are unsure what to choose, our experts will be happy to advise you.

We only use graded timber in our deck builds.

We always endeavour to source our timber locally and from ethically approved suppliers.

We will build you a solid, safe deck, that looked after, will last many years.

A deck is a load bearing structure that could potentially hold dozens of people at one time. Every care is taken to make sure that the correct fixings are used to ensure strength & safety.

 Do Decks attract Rats?

Of all the possible places for rats to set up home, underneath a properly installed deck is one of the most

inhospitable of places. This is because a sterile area is created before construction using a weed-suppressing

sheet held in place with a layer of gravel. Because a gap is left between deckboards to help drain the surface

dripping rainwater does not make for a dry, secure home.

Our decks are designed with you in mind . Accurate plans designed on specific CAD software enable us to get mm perfect plans saving any unessesary materials and can also put your minds-eye design into a reality.
